Documentary Style Photographer Documenting Fighters, Warriors, Rebels, Artists
For last few months I've gotten into photography. I've basically glued a camera to my hand.
Not just any camera but a DSLR camera - Canon EOS D60.
Purpose is to improve my level design and environment art.
Photography doesn't directly translate to game art but there are a lot of parallels.
It has helped me to pay attention to my surroundings and look at the world around me differently. I now pay more attention to color, moods, framing and composition.
I'm still new at this and improving every day. It's exciting to be a beginner at something again.
Here is the first compilation of better photos I took over the last few months.
Man-made objects photography practice and trying to see the world through a different perspective of my DSLR.

Experimenting with night-time long exposure.

Nighttime photography practice.

Marquee lighting off frame producing different color reflections on the parking lot pavement.

Landscape photography composition practice at the beach.

Nature photography practice. Different from landscape shots. Focus is on a specific element within the landscape.

My first bokeh. Always thought bokeh effect was aesthetically pleasing. I naturally had to create one myself.
Simple to do. Manual focus and wide aparture.
